Player Profile: Noble Meyer

Noble Meyer was born in Tualatin, Oregon, on January 10, 2005. He played high school baseball at Jesuit High School in Beaverton, OR. He was the top-ranked RHP and the top-ranked overall player in Oregon. At Jesuit in 2022, he went 10-0 with 129 strikeouts and a 0.72 ERA in 58.1 innings. He was the Gatorade player of the year in 2023 with a 0.33 ERA and 128 strikeouts in 63 innings pitched. Meyer was ranked the top RHP in the country and as the fourth-ranked overall player. He committed to play college baseball at the University of Oregon.

Meyer was the eighth-ranked prospect entering the 2023 draft and would be picked tenth overall by the Miami Marlins and signed with them over going to Oregon.

Meyer started at rookie ball and made the jump to Single-A Jupiter. In five games, he went 0-1 with a 4.09 ERA, a 1.63 WHIP, a 0.0 HR/9, a 5.7 BB/9, and a 12.3 K/9 in 11 innings.

Future                                                                   

ITD ranks Meyer as the 58th overall prospect and the Marlins top ranked prospect. He will likely start the season either at Single-A or High-A.
